We
reunite to celebrate our common experiences or heritage, parting again with
cameras full of memories, and good intentions to communicate more –- to stay
in touch this time, for sure.
But, life happens -- somehow, we never seem to follow through as much as
we would like.
Well, now, with the miracle of the Internet, staying in touch and sharing
all those captured memories is so much easier.
Diana & Sandy in Santa Monica Michigan cousins Diana and Sandy visited Diana's son Jeffrey in November of 2005 and spent some time
with
cousin Joyce and DD Rebecca. We all spent the day in Santa Monica enjoying each other and the sights. The day was cool for California, and with a heavy mist all day. The camera was a Nikon Coolpix 8800 with postproccessing done in Corel PaintShop Pro 9. (Don't forget to click on the slide show!)
Thanksgiving 2005 at Chris & Sheryl's Family and friends gathered at Chris and Sheryl Lasley's new home in Brea, California for Thanksgiving 2005. Guests enjoyed the warm California day, good conversation and great food. Camera was a Nikon Coolpix P2 (which was soon replaced by a Nikon Coolpix S4). Postproccessing in Corel PaintShop Pro 9.
BBQ at the Bertram's 2005-Nov-12 Joyce's cousins, Diane and Sandy, whom she hadn't seen in nearly 40 years, came to visit from Detroit, MI. The kids wanted to do something "really California" while they were here, and Joyce suggested a California BBQ.
